Beverley Craven & Judie Tzuke - ‘Strings Attached…’

Fresh from the highly acclaimed, sold-out Woman To Woman UK tour with fellow artistes Julia Fordham and Rumer, Beverley Craven & Judie Tzuke make a welcome return to the stage.

Performing with the Gabriella Swallow string quartet this intimate acoustic show will feature songs and stories spanning their careers as singer/songwriters.

Brit Award winner Beverley Craven first shot to fame in 1991 with her debut album featuring the hit singles Holding On, Woman to Woman and the eternal classic, Promise Me.

Judie Tzuke first came to prominence in 1979 with her timeless classic hit Stay with Me Till Dawn and the critically acclaimed album Welcome to the Cruise.  A humorous and highly entertaining evening is in store as two of the best loved UK female singer/songwriters join forces and bear their souls with new and classic songs from throughout their careers.

Witty narrative, unforgettable melodies and poignant sentiments will leave you with a warm glow of nostalgia, or maybe even the odd tear…

We're really thrilled to be bringing these two wonderful singer songwriters to Folk in the Barn for the first time.  What Folk in the Barners may not know is that in the early 90's (that's the nineteen nineties not Simon's early nineties... b-doom tish)  Simon (Nicol) played in Beverley's band, both on tour, and on her first two albums.  This is going to be a super-special evening.

Presented 'in the round' so seats aren't reserved, you can choose where to sit on the night.  Please let the venue know by email if you require accessible seating.
